Kerr Mackie is a large primary school in the Roundhay area of Leeds. The school is multi-cultural with pupils from a wide range of backgrounds. Our creative curriculum and teaching approaches together with the vibrant learning environments enthuse, engage and motivate our children.  

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated Superintendent who will have many varied responsibilities and specific responsibilities around general maintenance and health & safety. The role of the superintendent will be working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leaders. The post holder will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to use their own initiative and be proactive in all areas of their role. The post holder will need to be able to use a computer and have the ability to use a computer to produce documents and adhoc reports and should be able to demonstrate their experience in the application form. The school would also be keen to accept applications from people with trades such as joiners.

School Business Manager

Salary details: SO1: £25,951 to £27,668

Contract Type: Permanent Appointment

Hours per Week: 37 hours per week + 10 days 

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated School Business Manager who will be working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leaders. The postholder will be responsible for the general management and administration function of the school, which will include the  management of all administrative staff and superintendent. The postholder will have key responsibilities around ensuring the school is compliant with all statutory guidelines, managing all finance related tasks and completing all personnel related documentation, along with other key responsiblities outlined in the job description. The postholder will be required to report and communicate on a regular basis with Governors throughout the year. The postholder will need to be self motivated and have the ability to use their own initiative and be proactive in all areas of their role. The role is full and varied and the postholer should demonstrate their skills in the application form and should read through the skills matrix to ensure they meet all the demands of the role.
